Sarah"s Fabric Book Page

This is my page for Sarah's Fabric Book - a swap organised by FiberArtFriends Group. Her theme is a "Womans work is never done". I was thinking about the theme and it's so true, we are such a busy bunch of people, and there never seems to be enough time. So, that is what I based my page on "Never Enough Time". The glitter in the hour glass will pass through if you shake the page...........

What a wonderful page, great idea using that egg timer shape. I'm a bit worried about this topic, but I dare say I will come up with something by brainstorming nearer the time.

That's a clever idea - who knows, something of that nature might well show up in my work in future :) At the moment, I'm working on a series of cards with tiny triangles of fabric behind some sheers (and they move a bit if you shake them, as they are more or less free) but glitter would work much better. Or sequins. Or beads. Hmm... I see lots of possibilities!

So true! So true! There really isn't enough time to create all the wonderful ideas floating around in all our minds...but you really made great use of your time by making this page. The glitter in the hourglass is simply INSPIRING! What a mind! What an image! Fabulous!

Hi again Diane - thanks for stopping by my blog - I did respond to you, but yahoo apparently couldn't deliver to you as they couldn't "find any host called bigpond". Anyway, I won't retype the whole two messages, but in a nutshell - my kids make terrible faces and rude signs behind each other too and they are girls, so it's not sex-linked. And if you ever decide to make a postcard holder, I'd love to see it & link to, so be sure to blog it!
