My Poor Finger/Work in Progress

Not much happening at the moment, as yesterday whilst trying to clean up the yard - I cut my finger on a broken light bulb. Ouch!! It was messy and deep, so drove myself to the Docs, and here I am 5 stitches later. So, I'll have to make do with reading my multitude of books for a couple of days - no creating........ Thought I'd post a couple of pics of my "already messy" art/craft room, and of a WIP. She's looking a little lost at the moment, but once I give her some hair, and and lots more embellishments - she'll cheer up immensely.

What a mess Dianne but you have an excuse more than I can say about mine.
Hope your finger gets better soon.

Hope your finger gets better soon. You should see my craft area it is worse than yours. I think it is a good sign if the craft room is in bit of a mess which means you are being very creative. I can't wait to see your new wip finished.

i understand what you are suffering now -inwardly mainly, i think-

this remembers me something terrible that happened to me about 9 years ago. i got my hand caught in the dough in our industrial bread kneading machine and i could pull it out at the last hundredth of a second before the arm would have cut my hand by the wrist. I had two deep cuts though because the arm teared my palm and they had to operate it at the hospital and sew the cuts. I got a plaster and being my right hand -i'm right handed- i couldn't do anything for some weeks and they were tough!!!!
i can only be happy that not the worst happened!!

Hi!
Thanks for the comment on my blog...yes, I've got boys too. Your craft area looks totally fine to me...in fact, it looks quite organized compared to the general disarray that I call a "studio"! I hope your stitches heal nicely and that you enjoy your reading.

Oh, Dianne! I hope that cut heals quickly so you can get back to creating your gorgeous magical fabric art.

I love that rubenesque style nude! Can't wait to see what you do with her.
