Embellished Bag - No.1 in 2007

My first project and first post for 2007!! Happy New Year to everyone - hope it will be a happy, safe and creative one for all of us!!! Thankyou everyone for visiting and leaving comments on my blog - I really do appreciate it - THANKS!!

I made this bag today completely on the embellisher - no sewing involved! Was a bit of a challenge for me - only broke one needle (@@##$$$&&**^%). Not sure if I like it, but I was on a bit of a mission to start and also finish something - so this is the product of this mission of mine.......

Cool colors and I like the shape. So you got a sturdy enough seam with the embellisher that you didn't have to sew them at all with thread? I haven't tried this with mine yet.

This is great. Did you have an idea of the outcome before you started Dianne or did it just happen as you went along?

Great colors and I like the shape. I'm with Sue B in wondering if you think the "seam" is strong enough with the Embellisher.

I'm still not sure what an embellisher is - I figured it was some sort of needle-attachment for felting. The bag looks fun! Mission #1 down, 300 and some to go... (!?!)

It's great Dianne. I'm starting to think more and more about getting myself one of those embellishers. Maybe for my birthday huh?

What a lovely bag Dianne. The more I see of the work you do on the Embellisher, the more it makes me want one.
Thanks for your comments on my blog.

Love the bag! It's so you. :)

I've never tried the embellisher. I'd love to sometime. Happy New Year!

Ok, I'm not a fabric person so what is the embellisher? Whatever it is, I love the bag you made.

cool...it's lovely not to sew isn't it :)) (btw the "darling" with pins pic is really gross - it made my toes curl, lol)
