My Little Darling!!

My little darling!!!!

While I was making my page for Sue B's fabric book (we are doing a page swap on Fibre Art Friends Group), my little darling was sticking pins in his hands -in his words "just for something to do". Lucky I caught him - who knows where he would've tried sticking them next!!

Sue B's Page (Back of it!!)

I finished Sue B's page, but not sure if it suits the cover that she made, so I'm only going to show the back of it until I decide whether it's Sue's page or not. It's quite shiny and glitzy - I might make it my January journal quilt...... MMmmmmm - let me think on it.

Oh my goodness! That's a lot of pins! Boys. I sometimes wonder about what goes through the brains of mine. Thankfully they haven't tried a stunt like this (yet).

Ooh! this brings back memories of sewing through your hand in the needlework lesson - used to freak the teacher out!
Dianne, if this is only the back cover then all I can say is this swap is going to be a very high standard.

Well, at least your son is creative with a nice sense of color balance! The page back looks good!

Hope your little darling doesn't get blood poisoning, some of my pins are very sticky and gungy.

I love the back of that piece, it's always worth having a look at the back, many a time I have made something and prefer the back to the front.

LOL! My cousin and I used to do this when we were kids in our grandma's sewing room which doubled as our guest room. =) Although- NOT to this extreme!

I love your pic and will have to forward your blog to my cousin for memories of old times sake.
